NEC adds to its MultiSync line two new medical-grade LCD monitors, the MD211C2 and MD211C3 both with 21.3-inch screen size. Based on IPS LCD panel, these displays provides wide viewing angles. They are designed to meet the needs of healthcare facilities requiring consistent and accurate medical imaging using Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
The MD211C2 features 2 Megapixel 1600×1200 resolutionand 900cd/m2 brightness, and the MD211C3 has 2048×1536 3 Megapixel resolution and 800cd/m2 brightness. They are factory calibrated to the DICOM grayscale function for luminance and is equipped with a smaller front sensor to maintain factory calibration, and GammaCompMD QA software for worry-free calibration and conformance testing to the DICOM standard. To deliver detailed and high-definition rendering of color images, both monitors sport 14-bit internal lookup tablet (LUT). You can also find digital uniformity correction for reducing screen uniformity errors.
You can find DVI-D, DisplayPort inputs and a 2-port USB hub; and a stand with 150mm height adjustability, pivot, tilt and swivel is included. The medical-grade MD211C2 and MD211C3 IPS LCD monitors will be released in early 2014.
