NEC introduces its updated NC900C digital cinema projector for theaters with small screens. The projector delivers 2K DCI-compliant cinema quality, featuring an image brightness of 14-ft-L (using a 1.8 gain screen) on screens up to 30ft/9m, while adhering to DCI color specifications. It is the most compact 2K DCI-certified digital cinema projector on the market, thanks to TI’s new S2K chip.

The projector comes with Integrated Media Server (IMS) (model NP-90MS01) and 2TB RAID5 Storage Server, making it an one-stop solution. It also features High Frame Rate (HFR) capability for enhanced picture quality, triple flash technology for smooth motion, and is able to show 3D content.
The NEC NC900C provides two HDSDI 2G, three USB Type A, one eSATA inputs, and one RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet LAN, one GPIO D-sub, and a GPIO 3D D-sub 15 external control ports. The IMS adds two RJ45 (4 GPI and 6 GPO) and two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports. NEC has a range of bayonet-style lenses with electronic zoom, focus and lens shift for the projector.
