Following the Porsche Design P’9223, LaCie introduces the new P’9223 Slim mobile drive that is even slimmer. Designed especially for Mac, the drive has an aluminum to match MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The sleek drive is LaCie’s thinnest 2.5-inch storage device, and is even slimmer than the new super slim Macbook Air, measuring just 11mm thick.
The P’9223 Slim uses USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface and is available in 120GB SSD and 500GB hard drive options. The SSD model offers speeds up to 400MB/s. The slim mobile drive is compatible with Mac OS X’s Time Machine for data backup. It also comes with LaCie Private-Public Password Protection and Automatic Backup software.
LaCie’s Porsche Design P’9223 is priced at $99.99 for 500GB HDD model and $149.99 for 129GB SSD model.
