Fujitsu announced its Windows 8 lineup that includes the innovative ESPRIMO X913-T all-in-one PC with a multitouch display and an ultrasound presence sensor. According to Fujitsu, the sensor uses ultrasonic to detect whether a user is in front of the screen. It will keep the display active if it found someone is sitting in front, even if the user doesn’t touch the keyboard, mouse or touchscreen; and as the user leaves, it will automatically locks and switches the PC into a lower power consumption mode. The function works pretty like Samsung Galaxy S III‘s Smart Stay feature.
Another stand-out feature of the X913-T is its 23-inch Full HD display with 10-finger multitouch capability for working with Windows 8’s Live Tile interface and touch-enabled apps. The AIO is powered by choice of Intel Core i5-3470-T, Core i3-3220T and Pentium G645T processor, integrated Intel HD graphics and up to 16GB of RAM. It comes equipped with up to 750GB 5400RPM hard drive, or a 7200RPM 320GB hard drive or 128GB SSD. There are four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a DVI output, Ethernet LAN port. WiFi is available as an option.
The ESPRIMO X913-T also offers solutions specifically tailored to business needs, with enhanced security features such as face recognition for secure login, the unique EraseDisk option for disk sanitization, a SmartCard Reader and a TPM module.
Fujitsu will release the Windows 8 ESPRIMO all-in-one soon.
