JBL expands its OnBeat line with the new OnBeat Venue loudspeaker dock for iPad. Designed for iPad, the Bluetooth-equipped speaker has a 30-pin dock for charging iPad, which also works with iPhone and iPod. It is able to stream music wirelessly from not just iPad, iPhone, iPod touch but virtually any smartphones, tablet, notebooks or media players with Bluetooth connectivity.
The OnBeat Venue features 30 watts of amplified power and sports two full-range transducers for room-filling sound and Slipstream port technology to deliver powerful bass with low distortion. It also includes HARMAN TrueStream technology to ensure high quality streaming audio via Bluetooth. The iPad speaker has component video output for showing movies, photos to a TV, and a 3.5mm AUX input jack for connecting other audio sources.
Users can customize their listening experience from the iPad using the free JBL MusicFlow app. The JBL OnBeat Venue is priced at $199.
