NEC launches its new commercial-grade E-series displays intended to provide cost-effective digital signage solution for education and enterprise customers. Four models are announced, including 32-inch E323, 42-inch E423, 46-inch E463 and 55-inch E553 and all of them feature edge-lit LED backlighting for slimmer display. They are targeted for use in retail stores, quick-service restaurants, healthcare waiting rooms and fitness centers.
The E323 model features 1366×768 resolution, 350cd/m2 brightness and 4000:1 contrast ratio, and the E423 abd E463 have 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 350cd/m2 brightness and 3500:1 contrast. The large 55-inch model offers 400cd/m2 and 4000:1. Based on A-MVA panel, they all provide 178/178-degree viewing angle. These new commercial displays come equipped with ATSC/NTSC/QAM analog/digital tuner to receive high-definition broadcast, and includes closed captioning enables users to display text information for the hearing impaired. Along with three HDMI inputs, you can also find D-sub, RCA as well as RS232 control port.
A detachable stand is included and users may get the optional wall mount kit (WMK-3257), accessory pack (MIS513) and external single board computer (TNETPC-AF-WH). Coming in November, the E323, E423, E463 and E553 are priced at $419, $649, $829 and $1279, respectively.
