Dell introduces its 2013 S-series LCD monitors, including the 27-inch S2740L, 24-inch S2440L, 23-inch S2340L/M and 21.5-inch S2240L/M. All of them have Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and LED-backlight. Except for the S2440L that uses VA panel, all other models use IPS panel. They all provide 8 Million:1 Mega dynamic contrast ratio and 178/178-degree wide viewing angle.
The top-of-the-line 27-inch S2740L and the 24-inch S2440L are almost frameless, featuring edge-to-edge glass on a glossy screen, while the S2340L/M and S2240L/M are virtually borderless. The S2740L has VGA, DVI-D, HDMI inputs and two USB ports. The S2440L, S2340L, and S2240L all provide VGA and HDMI inputs, and the S2340M and S2240M offer VGA and DVI connections.
The new S-series models come with adjustable stand and Image Enhance feature to improve visual quality. The S2740L, S2440L, S2340L and S2240L, and S2240M are priced at $399.99, $299.99, $249.99, $219.99 and $199.99, respectively.
