Other than the Wireless Charging Shell for the Lumia 820, Nokia will also release the softer Active Shell. Like the charging shell, the active shell is also made from PC/ABC, but it adds rubber-like material around the front and the edges. It covers the back and also stretches around the front slightly to protect the edges of the screen and the corners.
The Active Shell will come in matte yellow, green and orange with a black TPU trim that protects your Lumia 820 from drops. However, the rugged shell doesn’t include support for wireless charging, meaning if really like to charging the Lumia wirelessly, you will need the Wireless Charging Shell.
