Nikon will release in November the 1 NIKKOR 18.5mm f/1.8 fixed focal lenght lens for Nikon 1 System. The lens is compact and lightweight and features eight aspherical optical elements in six groups. It has a fixed 50mm (35mm equivalent) focal length and a large f/1.8 aperture that is ideal for portraiture and everyday shooting.
With a large aperture, the 1 NIKKOR 18.5mm f/1.8 is the fastest lens in the line-up and allows users to create a dramatic depth of field with beautiful image blur, and shoot with confidence in challenging lighting conditions.
Nikon’s 1 NIKKOR 18.5mm f/1.8 is compatible with Nikon 1 J1, J2 and V1. It will be available in November in black, white, silver for $189.95.
