JBL, other than the PlayUp, introduces the PowerUp (MD-100W)wireless charging speaker for Nokia’s Lumia phones. The speaker uses Bluetooth connectivity for wireless streaming and NFC for one-tap pairing. Not just a wireless speaker, the PowerUp doubles as a wireless charger. You can simply place your Lumia 820 or Lumia 920 on top of the speaker for wireless charging. Using Qi wireless charging technology, the PowerUp can also charge other Qi-compatible devices wirelessly.
The PowerUp is equipped with 2.5-inch full-range drivers and features apt-X and Digital Signal Processing to deliver JBL’s signature sound. Not just Bluetooth streaming, there is also a 3.5mm jack for connecting other audio devices.
The PowerUp will come in black, blue and white colors.
