NEC adds to its MultiSync line the new 22-inch EA224WMi IPS desktop monitor designed for enterprise clients in the corporate, financial, healthcare and government markets. Equipped with a 21.5-inch 16:9 IPS LCD panel, the monitor has a wide viewing angle of 178/178-degree, Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 1000:1 typical contrast. The display uses LED backlighting.
The MultiSync EA224WMi includes ControlSync feature for easy multi-screen setups of up to six MultiSync EA Series monitors. It provides DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and VGA D-sub inputs and comes with integrated 4-port USB 2.0 hub. There are also integrated 1Wx2 stereo speakers. Also included is an ergonomic adjustable stand with 130mm height-adjust, tilt, swivel and pivot.
NEC’s new IPS display also features integrated smart sensing technology, including ambient light and human sensors to automatically determine the proper display brightness and detect work conditions, which in turn reduce power consumption. The NEC MultiSync EA224WMi is priced at $279.
