LG introduces its new CAV42K V-Series zero client cloud monitors powered by Teradici Tera2 chipset. The new V-series is available in 23-inch and 19-inch models. As a zeo client monitor, the V-series comes with no CPU, memory and storage, and needs only a network connection, keyboard and mouse to connect a centralized network for cloud computing. Users don’t even need to install operating system and software.
Equipped with the new TERA2321 chip, the CAV42K V-Series offers Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) users a more powerful processor capable of processing pixels up to five times faster (50 Mega Pixels per second from 10 Mega Pixels per second) than the Tera1-powered P-series Cloud monitors. The cloud monitors support VMware platform, and Cisco’s UPoE to improve energy efficiency and connectivity. It offers 6 USB 2.0 ports.
The 23-inch model has a full HD 1920×1080 resolution, while the 19-inch model has 1440×900. Both of them utilize IPS LCD technology and deliver ultra-sharp images.
