Garmin expands the dēzl line with the new dēzl 760LMT truck navigator, joining the dezl 560LMT. The new navigation device gets a large 7-inch touchscreen and the new Active Lane Guidance feature to help truckers confidently navigate intersections and exits.
Loaded with detailed maps, the 760LMT provides truck-specific routes and turn-by-turn directions based on vehicle height, weight, length and carriage, and trucking specific POIs, such as truck stops, weigh stations, dealerships and washes. The Garmin Exit service lets drivers to quickly search for upcoming POIs at highway exits. Drivers can also keep track of their trip data easily as the dēzl 760 will automatically archives fuel usage and the number of miles driven in a given state or province.
With a 7-inch 800×600 large screen, the new Active Lane Guidance is displayed in a split-screen next to the map view to guide drivers to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit. By pairing the dezl 760 with your smartphone via Bluetooth and utilize existing data connection of the phone, you can access real-time information such as traffic, images from traffic cameras, weather, parking…etc. The Bluetooth connectivity, along with a built-in microphone and speaker, allow the 760LMT for handle hands-free calls.
As a GPS navigator, the dēzl 760LMT includes voice prompts, voice-activated navigation and comes with Lifetime Traffic. You can also find ecoRoute that calculates a more fuel-efficient route, and trafficTrends that calculates routes based on predicted traffic flow.
Coming in Q4, the Garmin dēzl 760 will be available for $399.99.
