Sony comes back to the e-book reader market, introducing the new Reader PRS-T2 e-reader with an enhanced touchscreen. The new Reader features a new 6-inch glare-free E-ink Pearl V200 touchscreen enhanced for long-term reader. You can swipe a finger to turn a page, pinch fingers to zoom in/out and write notes with finger or the included stylus. The new device comes with an improved default book layout that is easier to organize and find books.
The PRS-T2 Reader comes with 2GB of storage and is loaded with two English language and four translation dictionaries. With built-in WiFi connectivity, users can access and download thousands of e-books, magazines and newspapers from Sony’s Reader Store. You can also borrow free e-books wirelessly from over 15,000 public libraries. It also include new Facebook feature that lets you post a short passage from books purchased from Reader™ Store to Facebook directly from the device along with the book cover, author and title; and Evernote for users to save web content easily.
The Sony Reader PRS-T2 is available for $129, including a voucher for redeeming against the first eBook in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, for free. The Reader comes in black, white and red.
