Sony introduces in Europe two new home theater surround soundbars, the HT-CT60 and HT-CT260 built to deliver big cinema sound. With a stylish, compact hexagon design, the soundbars delivers surround sound without taking too much space, yet enhanced your living room decor.
The HT-CT60 features two front speakers to provide 60W of clear audio, while the CT260 offers a 300W of total speaker power and features Sony’s S-Force PRO Front Surround technology to create a 3D audio effect with just two front speakers in a single bar. They both come with a power subwoofer and the CT260 gets a wireless one to “dynamic base from the tightest spaces.” The CT260 also adds integrated Bluetooth connectivity for you to stream music wirelessly from PC, tablet or smartphone.
Both CT60 and CT260 soundbars support Dolby Digital, DTS audio, and the latter includes support for Dolby Prologic II, Dolby Dual Mono as well. They both have bass/treble control and night mode, and provide coaxial and optical audio inputs. Sony’s new cinema soundbars will be released in August.
