MSI updates its multimedia laptop line with the new CX61 and CR61. While both models are powered by choices Intel 3rd gen Ivy Bridge Core processors, the CR61 come with integrated Intel HD graphics while the CX61 sports either NVIDIA GeForce GT640M or GT630M graphics card with 2GB of RAM. They sport up to 8GB of RAM and 720GB hard drive.
The CX61 and CR61 come with a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LCD display, and support Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi connectivity. You can find a 5-in-1 card reader in addition to the DVD SuperMulti burner. Both machines feature 2Wx2 theater class speakers and SRS Surround Sound enhancement. Other features include HD webcam, HDMI output, two USB 3.0 ports and a 6-cell battery.
