Sony introduces the Walkman NWZ-F800 portable media player running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The network-enabled player supports WiFi wireless connectivity for browing the web and downloading or streaming online content. It is powered a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and features a 3.5-inch mutlitouch display.
The F800 Walkman includes S-Master MX Digital Amplifier and five Clear Audio technology to deliver enhance sound. It also boasts built-in xLOUD speaker system for your to share music out load. The player supports Bluetooth for wireless music streaming to Bluetooth-enabled speakers, headphones, and audio systems. Running Android OS, the Walkman can access Play store for applications and games.
Sony’s F800 is available in 8GB (NWZ-F804), 16GB (NWZ-F805) and 32GB (NWZ-F806) capacities. The company will release the 16GB and 32GB models in the US in August for $269.99 and $299.99 respectively. The MDR-EX0300E in-ear headphones are included.
