Vivitek debuts two new installation and large venue projectors at the InfoComm 2012, the D5280U with native WUXGA resolution, and the Full HD D7180HD. Both models are based on DLP display technology and features BrilliantColor technology for vibrant color reproduction.
The Vivitek D5280U has a centered lens design with manual vertical/horizontal lens shift. It offers 1920×1200 WUXGA resolution, 4500 ANSI lumens brightness, and a 2200:1 contrast ratio.Its 330W lamp offers up to 2000 hours of life. The company offers three interchangeable lens options for greater flexibility. The D5280U is equipped with 3Wx2 stereo speakers and provides HDMI v1.3, Display Port, VGA-in, Composite video, S-video, Component video as well as BNC, 12V Trigger, RJ-45 and RS-232c control ports.
The D7180HD, on the other hand, is a Full HD 1920×1080 short-throw projector with 3400 lumens brightness and 1800:1 contrast ratio. It features six segment VividWheel and is equipped with built-in 10W speaker. Connectivity options include HDMI v1.3, VGA input, Component, Composite, S-video and RJ45.
Vivitek will release the D5280U and D7180HD in Q4 for $5499 and $2999 respectively.
