3M Touch Systems brings to the InfoComm 2012 three new multi-touch displays, the 27-inch M2767PW, 24-inch M2467PW and 21.5-inch M2167PW. All of them utilizes 3M’s Projected Capacitive Technology for full multi-touch capabilities. While the M2767PW is a 40-finger multi-touch display, and the other two models provide 20-finger multi-touch capabilities with less than 6 millisecond response time for 20 simultaneous touches.
The 67PW series displays are based on P-MVA LCD technology and feature Full HD 1080p resolution, LED-backlight, 5000:1 contrast ratio and 250cd/m2 brightness. They all provide a 178/178-degree viewing angle. These multi-touch displays are equipped with 3-watt audio speaker, and come with a stand with 90-degree position range for more viewing flexibility. They have HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort input connectors and do touch communicatio via USB port.
Other than the three models above, 3M has also the 22-inch M2256PW with 1680×1050 resolution, 1000:1 contrast and 300cd/m2, and the IPS-based M1866PW that delivers 1366×768 images with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 250cd/m2 brightness.
