Sony launches the VAIO L24 series all-in-one that combines PC, HDTV and monitor into one. The new VAIO AIO is powered by the third generation of Intel Core i5-3210M or Core i7-3610QM processor and up to 16GB of RAM. The multimedia machine comes standard with integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics and can be equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GT620 1GB or GT640M 2GB graphics. It has a 24-inch Full HD LED-backlit touchscreen display with optional 3D support, and is powered by Sony’s BRAVIA Engine with X-Reality chip for enhanced picture quality.
For storage, the VAIO L24 sport up to 3TB hard drive or 256GB SSD and a slot-load DVD SuperMulti burner with Blu-ray combo available as an option, and a Memory PRO Duo/SD memory card slot. With integrated NTSC/ATSC hybrid TV tuner with picture in picture functionality, the all-in-one can be used as a HDTV for users to enjoy TV shows and a remote control is included. You can also use the 24-inch VAIO as a Full HD monitor, thanks to its HDMI input and composite audio/video input. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, a 1.3 Megapixel HD webcam with Exmor for PC, 4-pin i.LINK IEEE1394 port and USB 3.0 ports. A wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse are also bundled.
Along with the four built-in speakers and a subwoofer, Sont adds the S-Master digital amp and S-Force Front Surround technology to deliver movie theater-like experience. The VAIO L24 starts at $1249, for which you will get Core i53210M, 4GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, Intel HD 4000 graphics, DVD burner, and TV tuner.
