Sony is going to release in Fall its new Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset – Elite Edition with BassImpact technology. The new headset is equipped with high fidelity speaker drivers to deliver 7.1-channel virtual surround sound, and the BassImpact technology to “translate bass sounds into pulses around the earpads of the headset”.
The Pulse includes preset modes to optimize users’ audio experience for select gaming genres, movies, and music. With a streamlined design, it comes with hidden noise-cancelling microphone for clear voice chat. Other than working wirelessly with PS3, PS Vita, the headset also has 3.5mm audio jack for connecting other audio souces such as MP3 player, smartphone, PMP using the included auxiliary cable.
Coming in Fall, Sony’s PlayStation Pulse Elite Edition stereo headset will be available for $149.99.
