SIIG introduced the new USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter with audio (model CE-H20W12-S1) based on DisplayLink’s DL-3500 USB virtual graphics chip. The adapter adds an HDMI port to your USB 3.0-enabled computer easily, allowing you to add an additional display device such as monitor, HDTV or projector easily. It supports up to 2048×1152 resolution and standard and widescreen (16:9 & 16:10) aspect ratios.
Thanks to the new DisplayLink DL-3500 chip, the adapter also transmits audio signal, meaning you don’t have to add another cable for audio. The USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter is backward compatible with USB 2.0, and using DisplayLink’s latest software, up to 6 adapters can be connected simultaneously.
The SIIG USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter with Audio is available for $129.99.
