Epson announced its entry into the electronic sporting goods market by introducing the world’s smallest GPS running monitor watch. The sport wristwatch has a ultra slim design measuring just 13mm and weighs no more than 50 grams. It is equipped with built-in low-power, high accuracy GPS module, and provides runners with accurate performance data on the fly, including distance, pace, and speed, on any course.
Epson’s GPS watch is water resistant up to 5 bars or meters of waterm, meaning you can uses it while showering and even swimming. It can operate for up to 12 hours on a full charge with GPS tracking on. Epson is planning to release the GPS watch in Japan in 2012.
