Canon introduces three new all-in-one PIXMA Office printers, the MX512, MX432 and MX372. All three models are capable of printing, copying, scanning and fax and the first two models come with built-in WiFi 802.11n for easy wireless printing. The new PIXMA Office printer use the two-cartridge ChromaLife 100 ink system, with one black cartridge and one color cartridge to deliver high-quality output at a maximum color resolution of 4800x1200dpi.
The MX512 and MX432 both provide print speeds at 9.7 ipm for black-and-white documents and approximately 5.5 ipm for color. The MX512 features the Dual Function Panel for easy navigation through menus, an Ethernet port for increased connectivity, integrated 30-sheet Auto Document Feeder, and Auto Duplex printing to help conserve paper usage. It has a 2.5-inch LCD screen for easy operation and preview images, and multiple card slots (SD/SDHC, microSD/SDHC, MMC, MS PRO/PRO Duo/Micro) for printing directly from memory cards . Both MX512 and MX432 include support for Apple’s AirPrint, allowing users to print photos, emails, documents directly and wirelessly from iPad 1/2, iPhone 3GS/4/4S, iPod touch 3G running iOS 4.2 or later. Users can set up the wireless printers easily using the one-press Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button.
The MX432 also has integrated 30-sheet Auto Document Feeder and a 2-line LCD display. The MX372 OFFERS 8.7ipm for black-and-white and 5.0ipm for color printer speeds. All three models can produce a 4″x6″ borderless photos in approximately 46 seconds. They all feature the FastFront system that allows users to open the front panel of the printer to easily access both the ink and paper for easy replacement. Using the Full HD Movie Print software included with all three models, users can produce clear images of frames from videos captured on compatible HD Canon EOS and PowerShot Digital cameras.
The PIXMA MX512 is priced at $149.99, while the MX432 and MX372 are priced at $99.99 and $79.99, respectively.
