Sony Europe announced the new Micro Vauly MACH, the first flash drive from Sony to use SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology for enhanced performance. The new drive is available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities and delivers up to 120MB/s read and 90MB/s write speeds.
The Micro Vault MACH has a sleek, solid aluminium body built to withstand day-to-day knocks, and a retractable USB connector with a click mechanism for extra protection. There is LED indicator to give visual confirmation of data transfers when the drive is in use. The USB 3.0 drive is backward compatible with USB 2.0. Downloadable software for Micro Vault MACH series includes File Rescue for recovering important files and the x – Pict Story for creating automated photo presentation.
Sony will launch the Micro Vault MACH in January.
