Other than the new 2012 VIXIA HF M-series, Canon also introduces the new VIXIA HF R32, VIXIA HF R30 and VIXIA HF R300 Full HD digital camcorders, which according to the company are to provide ideal combination of price and performance for budget-conscious consumers don’t want to sacrifice on features. All three models sport 3.28 Megapixel Canon Full HD CMOS image sensor, DIGIC DV III processor, a Genuine Canon HD Video Lens with 51x Advanced Zoom and a 3-inch touchscreen display for easy control. They record Full HD 1920x1080p videos in MP4 or AVCHD format.
The VIXIA R32, R30 and R300 all include Intelligent IS with Optical Image Stabilization allowing the camcorders to automatically switch between stabilization modes for optimal image quality while recording. You can also expect Smart AUTO, Advanced Video Snapshot, Cinema-Look Filter offers seven different built-in filters to create video with a variety of professional cinematic looks, 24p Cinema mode for Hollywood feel movie, 30p Progressive mode, and Video Snapshot.
The VIXIA HF R32, VIXIA HF R30 have 32GB and 8GB internal memory, respectively, as well as SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot. They include Canon’s Relay Recording that automatically switches video recording to the memory card when the internal drive becomes full, so you never miss a moment. Both models support WiFi connectivity for uploading photos to social networking sites such as YouTube, Facebook or to mobile devices such as iPhone/iPad. Coming in March, the Canon VIXIA HF R32, R30 and R300 will be priced at $549.99, $449.99 and $349.99, respectively.
