Along with the Pantech Element, AT&T is also launching another Pantech product on 22 January, the Pantech Burst 4G LTE smartphone. Targeted at value-oriented consumers, the phone will be available for just $49.99 with a two-year contrast. The slim Burst has a 4-inch Super AMOLED 800×480 touchscreen and 16GB internal memory.
The Pantech Burst packs a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a 2 Megapixel front camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It is powered bya 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 2.3.5 operating system. The Burst supports LTE 4G as well as HSPA+ mobile networks.
For a limited time, customers may buy the Pantech Element and Burst together on contract and get the Element for $249.99 and the Burst for free. The phone comes in titanium or ruby red colors options.
