FujiFilm has just announced the FinePix HS30EXR (also known as HS33EXR) and HS25EXR (aka HS28EXR) DSLR-style long-zoom digital cameras with a sturdy and classic design. Both models are equipped with 16 Megapixel EXR-CMOS image sensor, a Fujinon 30x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD display with Sunlight mode. There ia an electric viewfinder as well for easy outdoor shooting.
The HS30EXR and HS25EXR comes with updated intelligent processor and offers EXR Auto mode that configures each scene and recognizes the perfect setting and automatically takes the best quality picture, with a single touch of a button. They include Motion Panorama 360, Super Intelligent Flash, Face Detection, Face Recognition, Purple Fringing Reducer/Corner Resolution Enhancer, and RAW shooting. The HS30EXR can also shoot both a RAW and JPEG shot simultaneously. In addition to high speed continuous shooting at up to 8fps in full resolution, both cameras also include High Speed Movie options, which include capture at an incredible 320fps. The HS30EXR also features contrast Auto Focus system that takes approximately 0.16 seconds to focus.
Both 30x zoom FinePix cameras support Full HD 1080p video recording with H.264 high profile compression and provide mini-HDMI output for showing videos and images on a bigger screen easily. The HS30EXR has a large 0.26-inch electronic viewfinder with a 22-degree viewing angle and 920K resolution. while the HS25EXR has a 0.2-inch electronic viewfinder with a 16-degree viewing angle and 200K resolution. They both have “heads up” sensor that automatically changes from LCD to EVF for convenience.
To be released in March 2012, the FujiFilm FinePix HS30EXR and FinePix HS25EXR will be priced at $499.99 and $399.99, respectively.
Manual EXR modes:
- High Resolution Priority – can be used when you’re after exceptional image quality.
- High ISO & Low Noise Priority – can be used in low light conditions where the combination with the EXR sensor makes for superb results.
- Dynamic Range Priority – takes two pictures and combines them to provide a wide dynamic range of up to 1600%.
