Tranquil PC launches the new Media Centre MMC-12, a ultra slim HTPC measuring just 1.5-inch thick. According to the company, the MMC-12’s enclosure is cut from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminium, and then carefully hand finished to a superb soft textured satin finish. The slim, fanless HTPC is powered by Intel’s Core i3-2100T processor with 4GB of RAM and 80GB mSATA hard drive.
With a slot-loading DVD drive, the Media Centre MMC-12 not only plays media from hard drive or network, but is able to playback CD, DVD media. You can even watch TV by adding USB HDTV tuner or network tuner. It provides HDMI, DVI outputs and USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0 ports, eSATA connector and LAN port.
Tranquil PC’s MMC-12 is priced at GBP640. If the configuration is not enough for your, you can build the HTPC with Core i5 processor, a secondary 2.5-inch hard drive, Blu-ray Disc drive and WiFi connectivity.
