VIA announced the new ARTiGO A1150, a compact dual-core DIY PC kit with a Pico-ITX form factor. According to VIA, it is one of the smallest full-featured DIY PC kits. Powered by a 1.0GHz dual-core VIA Eden X2 processor, the A1150 offers a high performance native 64-bit computing experience while remaining within a low power thermal envelope.
The ARTiGO A1150 is equipped with VIA VX900H media system processor to bring multimedia experience to small form factor devices including hardware acceleration for the latest HD video codecs including H.264, VC-1, and MPEG-2/4 at screen resolutions of up to 1080p. In a palm-sized PC chassis, the mini DIY PC kit has HDMI and VGA video out, Gigabit networking, five USB ports, optional WiFi and SD card reader.
The ARTiGO A1150 measures 14.6 cm x 9.9 cm x 5.2 cm.
