A company called BICOM, Inc introduces the playGo USB, a kit designed to stream music wirelessly from PC or Mac to your home audio system. The kit includes a playGo rx (receiver) and playGo USB tx (transmitter). Simply plug the playGo USB tx to your computer and it will grab all the audio on your computer and start streaming audio wirelessly.
The playGo USB system uses 2.4Ghz packet-based wireless transmission and supports up to 75-feet transmission range. Up to four playGo rx receivers can be connected to one playGo transmitter. The receiver offers TOSLINK digital SPDIF output and 2-channel analog output. It has capacitive touch sensing buttons for power, play/pause, forward/back, volume up/down.
According to the company, the playGo USB is machined out of solid authentic Dupont 1/2″ Corian. It is priced at $399.99 and comes in orange and white. There is also the $499.99 playGo USB Speaker Bundle that includes the playGo USB kit and a pair of White Audioengine A2 speakers.
