Canon introduces its new compact imageFORMULA DR-C125 document scanner with a space-saving design. Featuring an intuitive face-up feeding with top feeding and top eject in an upright design, the scanner has a small operational footprint, making it ideal for space-constrained desktops or even mobile cart usage.
The DR-C125 features Three-Line Contact Image Sensor (CMOS) offering 600dpi optical resolution. It delivers color, black-and-white and grayscale scan speeds of up to 25 pages-per-minute (ppm) / 50 images per minute (ipm), It can scan both sides of a document in a single pass, and is able to handle wide variety of document types, including long documents up to 118″ in length, for example, medical records such as electrocardiograms (EKGs). It includes user-selectable paper paths for scanning items such as thick documents, plastic ID cards, embossed cards and driver licenses.
The imageFORMULA DR-C125 also feature image processing functions such as Background Smoothing to improve legibility, Auto Resolution to automatically adjust the output resolution, Auto Color Detection, and Shadow Cropping, for high-quality results. It comes bundled with the new Canon CaptureOnTouch software, featuring a sleek redesigned GUI for improved usability.
