Optoma announced in the US its HD33, which is the first full 1080p 3D projector available for less than $1,500. Featuring Full HD 1920x1080p resolution for 2D and 3D, the projector has 1800 ANSI lumens brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio, and 1.07 billion displayable colors.
The Optoma HD33 offers 80% uniformity and 116% offset. It is equipped with 1.2x Manual Zoom and Focus lens. The 3D projector includes PureMotion3D frame interpolation processing reduces judder to create smoother video sequences in both 2D and 3D content, and PureDepth technology that optimizes the projector’s brightness and image configuration, ensuring stunning image quality, again in both 2D and 3D.
Optoma HD33 has two HDMI 1.4a inputs as well as VGA, Component, Composite, RS-232, +12V Trigger, VESA 3D Port, and USB connectors. It will be available for $1499.
