Runco adds to its LightStyle Series the new LS-1 1080p Full HD DLP projector for homeowners looking for the performance and flexibility of a Runco projector at a very attractive price point. The new projector uses single-chip DLP display technology to deliver Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. Its 230W lamp offers up to 780 ANSI lumens brightness and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life.
With the SuperOnyx technology with ConstantContrast and ViVix proprietary digital video processing, the LS-1 offers deep black levels and significant contrast, well above 10:000:1. It also includes ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) calibration suite for optimal performance in various rooms and lighting conditions. Homeowners can use Runco’s FinishPalette to fully customize the projector. It has two HDMI, one component, one RGB, one S-video, and one composite video inputs as well as a RS232 connector.
The LightStyle LS-1 is also available with Runco’s CineGlide lens solution that enables a motorized, mechanical 2.35:1 anamorphic lens to move in front of the standard lens for perfect Scope reproduction. Comin in 16 August, the LS-1 costs $3995.
