ZyXEL launches its new PLA4205 500Mbps Powerline Adapter, designed to accelerate home networking throughput across existing electrical wiring. With support for 500Mbps data rate, the adapter delivers enough bandwidth to run multiple HD media streaming, gaming, video chat and other network applications simultaneously in any room with a power outlet.
The PLA4205 supports HomePlug AV (Audio Video) standard to ensure delivery of steady high-throughput speeds for a consistent and reliable HD viewing experience. ZyXEL’s Powerline Adapter Kit with two PLA4205 units also features line filtering to negate the network throughput impact from other high-power electrical components operating in the home, such as microwaves, washing machines or dishwashers.
