Vivitar launches a new waterproof HD digital video recorder, the DVR 690HD with a specially designed case that is waterproof up to 10 feet. The camcorder has a fixed focus lens and supports video recording with up to 1280×720 resolution at 25fps. Videos are stored in M-JPEG AVI format.
The Vivitar DVR690HD has a 2-inch LCD display and supports SD card up to 32GB. It offers 4x digital zoom, TV out, built-in microphone and speaker. The DVR690HD comes with rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. It is priced at $59.99.
