LG introduces in Korea the new LW980S CINEMA 3D HDTV featuring the NANO FULL LED backlighting technology. According to LG, with an extremely thin film printed with minuscule dots, NANO FULL LED disperses light more evenly across the screen, to create brighter, clearer and smoother pictures.
Available in 47-inch and 55-inch screen sizes, the LW980S series feature Full HD resolution, TruMotion 400Hz for smooth images, and 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Sporting the CINEMA 3D technology, the new series delivers flicker-free 3D images and offers 2D to 3D conversion technology that guarantees a ready supply of shows and movies in high quality 3D. The LW980S has built-in WiFi and comes with Smart TV and LG Apps. It also comes comes with comfortable, lightweight glasses that don’t need to be recharged and are easily replaceable.
LG will showcase the LW980S series at IFA Berlin on 2-7 September in Germany.
