NEC adds to its V Series multimedia projector line the new NP-V300W, an affordable, lightweight WXGA mobile projector that offers users the most essential features needed to display presentations in classrooms or small meeting rooms. The new model features 1280×800 native resolution, 2000:1 contrast ratio, and 3000 lumens brightness.
The NEC V300W utilizes Texas Instruments’ DLP engine and includes BrilliantColor technology for improved color accuracy. With a compact and lightweight design, the projector weighs just 5.5 pounds. It packs 7-watt speaker, integrated RJ45 jack for LAN connection; and offers HDMI, dual computer, composite video, S-Video and component video inputs.
The new projector features also built-in wall color correction presets, power management function that automatically turn off the projector when an incoming signal is not detected from any of the inputs, auto power-on via RGB (15-pin) input, quick start (3 to 4 seconds), direct power-off, filter-free design eliminates the hassle and time spent monitoring and changing filters. It supports Creston Roomview for unified management, and Virtual Remote (DDC/CI) that allows users to control the projector directly from a computer without the need for additional control cables.
The NEC NP-V300W is priced at $849.
