AMEX Digital introduces a new HD media player running Android OS, the MP-G7 with a 500GB hard drive pre-installed. The player is powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex processor with Full HD accelerator processing. It supports Full HD 1080p video playback and offers HDMI 1.3a output.
Running Android OS, the AMEX Digital MP-G7 lets you browse the web, play games easily and allows you to expand features and functions by installing apps. The player supports most media formats including H.264, RMVB, MPEG1/2/4, DivX, MKV, MP3, AAC, OGG, AC3. Other than HDMI, the MP-G7 also offers component output, TOSLINK S/P DIF optical digital audio out, and RCA audio output. Integrated digital TV tuner is available as an option.
The MP-G7 has two USB 2.0 ports and a SD card slot. It supports Ethernet LAN and WiFi connectivity. The price is $199.
