Sony Optiarc introduces its slim DRX-S90U, its first dual USB bus powered portable DVD burner. The drive comes with built-in dual USB cables with integrated cable duct for easy storage. It writes DVD+/-R at 8x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD+/-R DL at 6x, DVD-RAM at 5x, and CD-R/RW at 24x.
The tray-loading Sony DRX-S90U has 2MB buffer memory and features buffer under-run protection. Nero 10 CD/DVD burning software are included with the drive. It will be available for $70.
