Sony introduces in Europe two new standard definition digital camcorders, the Handycam SX21E and Handycam SR21E. Both camcorders are equipped with a 57x Optical Zoom lens by Sony and offer a powerful 67x Extended Zoom range. They have a flip-out 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD and built-in LED video light to illuminate indoor scenes or night-time shots.
The DCR-SX21E and DCR-SR21E feature SteadyShot, Face Detection, Intelligent AUTO mode that recognizes up to 18 different scene combination. They both support Memory Stick PRO Duo, and SD/SDHC memory cards, and the DCR-SR21E adds an internal 80GB hard drive.
Sony is going to release these two Handycam camcorders in September.
