Sony introduces in Europe its G Series micro Hi-Fi systems with a simple, elegant design. In total, there are four models. The CMT-G2BNiP and CMT-G2NiP with built-in WiFi connectivity for streaming music from PC and Internet radio stations. The CMT-G1BiP comes with DAB radio and FM/AM tuner while the CMT-G1iP packs only FM/AM tuner.
All these systems have USB connection for iPod/iPhone and MP3 playback from USB storage devices. The main unit is finished in solid aluminum with a hairline finish and retro-look control knobs. and the light color of the aluminum creates a striking contrast with the high-gloss black piano speakers. To minimizes unnecessary resonance for a crisp, clear audio performance, polyurethane paint rather than cheaper polyester paint is used in speaker coating.
