Sanyo, along with the 7000 lumens PLC-HP7000L, announced the PLC-WU3800 Wide XGA projector with the highest brightness in its class at 3800 lumens. The projector features 1280×800 Ture WXGA resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 3800 lumens brightness with its 275-watt lamp. Effective even in well-lit offices, conference rooms and classrooms, the PLC-WU3800 enables easy set-up, even for first-time users, with an “Auto Setup Function”.
The Sanyo PLC-WU3800 automatically searches for the active video source and selects the correct input, while an “Auto Keystone Correction” function ensures a distortion-free image by applying the appropriate correction when it detects that the projector is not level. It has a 1.6x zoom lens allowing for throw distance of 3.25 to over 39.70 feet. The projector provides HDMI 1.3b inputs, dual D-sub inputs that can be used for analog Component and RGB signals, S-video, and Composite RCA video.
The Sanyo PLC-WU3800 will be available for $1995.
