NEC introduces the new MultiSync EX231Wp 23-inch Ultra Slim LCD monitor based on PVA panel that allows for increased viewing angle, sharp contrast ratio, joining the 23-inch TN panel MultiSync EX231W. With a minimalist design, the display has an ultra thin bezel and is just 14.2mm in depth.
The EX231Wp features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, LED backlight, 3000:1 typical contrast ratio, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness and 178/178-degree viewing angle. It offers DisplayPort and DVI-I inputs and a USB port for quick connection of a webcam or speaker for video conferencing, as well as easy thumb drive access . The monitor is also equipped with ambient light sensor that detects external light sources, white display area and adjusts the display’s brightness accordingly; and the human sensor, which detects user activity in front of the monitor and reduces its power up to 94 percent with inactivity.
The MultiSync EX231Wp includes the Dynamic Video Mode that enhances video and images with real-time optimization of brightness, color and contrast (standard, text, movie, game and photo). It comes with a fully adjustable stand with 110mm height-adjust, tilt, swivel and pivot. The price is $319.
