MSI ships in the US market its new GT780R and GX780 17-inch gaming notebooks, both sport keyboards designed in partnership with SteelSeries. These notebooks come equipped with rugged SteelSeries Full Color Backlit keyboard featuring Power 10 key solution that allows 10 keys typing simultaneously and multicolor LED backlit and 5 programmable modes.
The GT780R (model GT780R-012US) and the GX780 (model GX780-011US) are powered by Intel’s 2nd gen Core i7 2630QM Sandy Bridge processor. The former packs 16GB DDR3 RAM and 1.5GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M graphics card while the latter sports 12GB of memory and 1GB GeForce GT 555M graphics. MSI’s new notebooks come with 17-inch 1920x1080p Full HD display and Dynaudio Speakers with THX Surround Sound PRO sound enhancement technology.
Inside GT780R and the GX780’s stylish, brushed aluminum textured body, you can also find 1TB/750GB hard drive, DVD SuperMultit burner, 7-in- card reader, 720p HD webcam, USB 3.0 connector, WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth and HDMI 1.4 output.
The MSI GT780R-012US is available for $1,699.99 and the MSI GX780-011US for $1,449.99.
