NEC introduces two new P-series large-screen LCD displays, the 40-inch P402 and the 46-inch P462 that are 1-inch thinner than their predecessor P401 and P461. These professional-grade, industrial-strength LCD displays are intended for 24/7 operation, ideal for use in quick-service restaurants, airports, public information environments, healthcare facilities and retail stores. They include additional thermal protection, internal temperature sensors with self-diagnostics and fan-based technology to prevent overheating.
NEC’s P402 And P462 features Full HD 1080p resolution, up to 650cd/m2 brightness and 3500:1 contrast ratio. They offer DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI inputs and include loop-through capability with DVI, DisplayPort and Composite Video. There are also RS-232C, RJ45 LAN, IR Remote, DDC/CI control terminals and expansion slot that supports the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS). Like NEC’s other professional displays, the P402 and P462 also support TileMatrix video wall technology.
Other than standard P402 and P462 models, NEC also launches the P402-AVT and P462-AVT with built-in NTSC/ATSC analog/digital tuner; and the P402-TMX4D and P462-TMX4D 2×2 TileMatrix Video Wall bundles that include four displays, Digital Factory PerfectAlign Mounting System, four 2-meter Null modem cables, a 6-meter DVI cable and a Tripp Lite Isobar6 surge suppressor.
