Kingston announced its new DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2 (DTU30G2), its fastest USB 3.0 flash drive. The drive uses a native USB 3.0 controller for better performance and power management. Available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, Kingston’s DTU30G2 offers a read speed up to 100MB/s, and a write speed up to 70 MB/s. The drive has read and write speeds of around 30MB/s, when plugged into a USB 2.0 port.
The DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 2 comes with a durable casing with a solid lanyard loop. It measures 73.70mm x 22.20mm x 16.10mm.
