Chinese company HiSense introduces a range of WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface) accessories, including a WHDI Transmitter Stick, a WHDI Receiver and a WHDI case for iPhone. The WHDI technology allows users to connect HD source such as notebooks, tablets, iPhone to HDTV wirelessly.
Using the Transmitter Stick with the receiver, HD content on notebook can be transmitted to HDTV allowing wireless mirroring on the TV of any content in the notebook. They support up to 1080p/60Hz resolution and 3D content. The WHDI case for iPhone is designed to bring content on iPhone to HDTV screen wirelessly and easily.
WHDI utilizes a 40MHz channel in the 5GHz unlicensed band. WHDI includes support for the 3D formats required by the HDMI 1.4a specification and range of over 30 meters (100 feet) through obstacles and walls. WHDI supports HDCP revision 2.0, providing superior security and digital content protection.
