Addonics launches the CF Drive and the CFast Drive, multi-slot CF/CFast card readers designed to be installed into a standard 5.25-inch drive bay. Four models are available, the AE6CF and AE6CFHI for CF cards and the AE6CAS and AE6CAHI for CFast cards. All of them have six slots, with AE6CF and AE6CAS have six independent slots and the AE6CFHI and AE6CAHI offer five removable media slots that can be set up in RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, JBOD, Clone Mode, and one internal media slot.
Addonics’ CF Drive and CFast Drive support PIO, DMA and UDMA and SATA I/II/III interface. The RAID-capable AE6CFHI and AE6CAHI models come with built-in Hardware Port Multiplier (model: AD5SAHPMSXA). Each of the six slots can be converted into an internal slot to prevent the media from accessible outside the system.
The prices are $135 for AE6CF and AE6CAS, and $199 for AE6CFHI and AE6CAHI.
