Belkin announced its 19-inch Widescreen Rack Console, designed to “simplifie users’ IT duties with features that enable easy setup and use, while reducing energy consumption.” The rack console has a compact design accomodating a keyboard, touchpad, widescreen monitor and KVM switch within a 1U rack.
Belkin’s new offering is compatible with standard 19-inch cabinets, racks and system configurations. It offers built-in 8 or 16-port KVM options, easy-to-grip handle design and built-in power supply. The 19-inch rack console offers video resolution of up to 1440×900. It has hot-key functionality allowing users to select a desired port using designated key commands.
